Buffburger

Buffburger Houston, TX Buff Classic Butter Lettuce, Vine Tomato, Red Onion, House Pickles, & Buff Mayo on a white bun $7.95 For one of my weekly trips through Houston, I decided to go to this little chain that I had heard had some good burgers and while my taste buds weren't disappointed, my stomach and wallet most certainly was. When ordering the burger, I was a little sad that the $8 price for just the basic burger didn't come with fries, but I felt like if it was a mind blowingly good burger, it would be worth it, so I moved on. When I received the burger, the first thing that I (and you can from the picture) noticed was that the toppings seemed to engulf the burger. The burger itself was really small, yet I had dinosaur sized lettuce and huge slices of tomato on the burger, which just seemed odd to me. Once I bit into the burger, honestly the ridiculous amounts of toppings were what I could taste the most, but once I removed the toppings, the burger was

Dairy Bar

Dairy Bar Brenham, TX Jalapeno Cheeseburger Lettuce, Tomato, Onion, Cheese, Jalapeno on a white bun $3.80 If you're going to Brenham, Texas the chances are you are not going for the food scene and you are instead going to the Blue Bell Ice Cream factory, which is exactly what my family and I did, but before we got some yummy dessert, we had to get some lunch. So naturally, I googled "best burger in Brenham" and this was the first search result, so here we are. The burger itself, was pretty basic in terms of toppings, so not much creativity here. They had plenty of different options such as "Cheeseburger", "Bacon Cheeseburger", "Jalapeno Cheeseburger", etc. but nothing special enough to call creative. The toppings were pretty basic and while they weren't bad by any means, they aren't going to knock your socks off. The meat was not seasoned very well, but boy was it juicy! You can tell that these patties just soak up the

Stadia Sports Bar

Stadia The Woodlands, TX Texas Burger Cheddar Cheese, BBQ Sauce, Hickory Bacon & 2 Fried Onion Rings on a Jalapeno Bun. Served with Lettuce, Tomato, and Pickles $12 If you're looking for a good burger, then you can find one at Stadia! The Burger itself had lettuce, tomato, BBQ sauce, cheddar cheese, and the very basic toppings you could expect to find on a burger BUT then decided to kick it up a little with some onion rings ON the burger which added a very crunchy and delightful surprise when eating the burger. Now the dough they use for the jalapeno bun tasted like sourdough, which not all are a fan of, but I personally am, so they get a check mark on the bread section. The meat was seared and seasoned so good that it was definitely one of the better meat patties I've had in the past few weeks. The downsides of this burger were probably the quality of the toppings seemed to be very generic such as thick tomato slices, and the bacon was very fatty which I was

Goose's Acre

Goose's Acre The Woodlands, TX Goose's Signature Texas Wagyu Locally Raised Texas Wagyu Akaushi Beef Topped with Melted Brie, Sauteed Mushrooms, Caramelized Onions, and White Truffle Aioli served on a brioche bun. $15 The Rating that I am giving to Goose's Acre Signature Texas Wagyu burger is more of a testament to the toppings of the burger then of the burger itself. The Burger itself when separated from the toppings was bland BUT incredibly juicy. It dripped grease which I personally do like, but that may not be a preference for everyone. The bun was very, very good and was buttered with some of that meat grease from the grill which made it intoxicating. The white trufle aioli was very flavorful, the melted brie was melted to an amazing consistency, and they had some of the BEST caramelized onions that I've had on a burger in a long tie. Even the sauteed mushrooms that I usually don't care for on my burger were done pretty well, but like I mentioned

Ronny G's

Ronny G's The Woodlands, TX Cheeseburger 8 oz. Angus beef on Texas Toast with LTOP. $5 Ronny G’s or Mickie D’s? Honestly couldn’t tell you. If you ever wondered what it would be like eating McDonald’s in a bar with a beer, than I have the place for you. Now right off the back, I have to take points off for lack of creativity, this place did not have a single signature or craft or any kind of creative burger, but regular old cheeseburgers, which don’t get me wrong, I love a good cheeseburger, it just takes the fun out of the creative part of it. The meat was very chewy, it was almost a chore to chew up every bite, which was a bit of a letdown because it was very juicy, the grease was just dripping from it. It was seasoned so-so, but nothing to write home about. The waitress suggested that I get it on Texas toast due to it being better than a bun (obviously), which I did, and I have to say their toast was very good. You could tell it had soaked up the butter and grease fr
