The Rating that I am giving to Goose's Acre Signature Texas Wagyu burger is more of a testament to the toppings of the burger then of the burger itself.
The Burger itself when separated from the toppings was bland BUT incredibly juicy. It dripped grease which I personally do like, but that may not be a preference for everyone. The bun was very, very good and was buttered with some of that meat grease from the grill which made it intoxicating. The white trufle aioli was very flavorful, the melted brie was melted to an amazing consistency, and they had some of the BEST caramelized onions that I've had on a burger in a long tie. Even the sauteed mushrooms that I usually don't care for on my burger were done pretty well, but like I mentioned at the beginning, once you separated those toppings off the burger, the completed result didn't live up to the expectations.


VERDICT: 3 out of 5 Stars.
