Willie's Grill & Icehouse

Willie's Grill & Icehouse The Woodlands, TX Fried Avocado Burger Half pound certified Angus beef topped with fried avocado, fried onion strings, pepper jack cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato $11.99 Avocado enthusiasts will love this burger, however burger enthusiasts will not. While I usually do not do big chain restaurants, I was here having lunch and decided to give this good sounding burger a try, and it let me down. The first thing I can say about this burger was it was covered with avocado, which for avocado lovers is a great thing, but for myself wanting to taste the burger, it was not. Every bite of the burger was essentially avocado and bacon with no taste of the meat, cheese, or onions. To add to that, the bacon was also all fat, so while some may like that, I was just picking the bacon off after half the burger because it was not to my liking. The patty itself had little to no flavor. Was not juicy in the least and didn't seemed to have very much seaso

Tewbelaux's

Tewbelaux's Spring, TX The B.A.B. (Big Ass Burger) 8 oz. Angus Beef on white bun, topped with BBQ pulled pork, mozzarella, cheddar, chipotle mayo, bacon, and lettuce $11.99 Wow there is a lot going on with this burger. From the two different types of cheese, to the pile of meat, to the other toppings that were cobbled on, this burger just has it going on. There is even an option to get Onion Rings stacked on top of it, but I opted out just due to the fact that it already had SO much. The hamburger patty was incredibly juicy, though I didn't taste much seasoning on it, but the addition of the BBQ pulled pork makes a really seasoned patty irrelevant. The delicious BBQ flavoring on top of the hamburger patty goes really well together. The pairing of the two cheeses went really well, and I'm really glad they chose mozzarella and cheddar, it's hard to think if this burger would have had the same success with 2 different types of cheese. The chipotle mayo was r

M.L. Rose Craft Beer and Burgers

M.L. Rose Craft Beer and Burgers Nashville, Tennessee The Belgian & The Nash Vegas The Belgian-Two smashed patties, smoked gouda, crispy onions, chopped bacon, lettuce, garlic peppercorn aioli Nash Vegas-Sweet Potato bun, pimento cheese, crispy tobacco onions, bbq sauce $11.99 each Over the past few weeks, I have been very busy with work and then on vacation road tripping to Nashville, Tennessee. So naturally on this road trip I had to get some burgers, and I decided to get multiple burgers at each stop to make up for all the weeks that I missed. The first burger I tried was The Belgian. The Belgian was an interesting burger, and let me start by saying the patties done here are cooked VERY well. M.L. Rose definitely knows how to cook and season their meat. I was a HUGE fan of their crispy onions, they were just crisp enough to still have flavor and chopped into a size that worked perfectly for being a topping on a burger. The Belgian however did come with it'

The Dugout

The Dugout Texarkana, Arkansas Double Header & The Slugger Double Header-2 Grilled Cheese Sandwiches, Bacon, Cheddar Cheese, Single Patty The Slugger-Single with Cheddar Cheese, Grilled Pineapple, Bang Bang Sauce, served on a White Bun $8.99 (Double Header), $6.29 (The Slugger) Over the past few weeks, I have been very busy with work and then on vacation road tripping to Nashville, Tennessee. So naturally on this road trip I had to get some burgers, and I decided to get multiple burgers at each stop to make up for all the weeks that I missed. The first burger I tried was the Double Header. In the easiest way to describe it, this was a burger patty smashed between 2 grilled cheese sandwiches. Now this doesn't seem like the most creative burger in the world, but it was FUN burger. And it was REALLY good. The Dugout is a hidden gem in Texarkana, their burgers are great! Now while I would love to give this burger a lot of points, I have to take into consideratio
